This is a simple economic problem of consumption vs investment.Historically you invested in a woman because they live longer accumulate less cellular damage and can provide you with reciprocal care as you age. With destruction of family this investment no longer provides returns.

@chick_in_kiev No, its because age and fertility in females is a luxury good, and younger women have simple ambitions that don’t force men to compromise theirs. Women are costly which is why polygamy is common but unaffordable for all but a few. So it’s simply a better trade than older women.
