To reinforce your observation with a bit more edge: westerners produce commons that other people cannot produce, and we do by NOT DOING evil: lying, misleading, cheating, stealing, free riding, corruption, as much as what we DO: Sovereignty, Reciprocity, Truth, Duty, Heroism.
