What marks are now unreliable? What makes you think environmental marks are reliable? I spent some time hunting and they aren’t very reliable. 😉 Man covered tracks early. He lied early by doing so. What problem do you think you can solve with an emphasis on what?

@curtdoolittle Tells you that the reliability of environmental marks has been central to our survival. We evolved in circumstances in which the vast majority of environmental marks were reliable indicators of fact. And this holds true from mammals to insects. But human marks are now unreliable.
