Not common knowledge any longer, but it’s indoor water, indoor toilet, and indoor washing machine, with refrigerator next. Stove isn’t that big a deal. And in retrospect the telephone was a curse. 😉 Getting water is a pain. Even living where water isn’t potable’s an experience.

My guess is the washing machine and drier would be the biggest godsend. I’d say they’d think dishwashers were useless since they all ate from one pot anyway and wouldn’t understand why we needed so many dishes in the house. https://t.co/XECwQBitFR
