A website is an interactive document. As far as I know the future of all documents is interactive documents.

The only reason we are not ‘there’ now, and the only reason we spend so much money on producing web content, is the SLOWNESS of the standards organizations, the failure of Google to exploit the opportunity (although the engine is winning), and the failure of the government to produce an initiative to unify it all.

In other words, the current market is inhibiting innovation.
