Capital has a different value system. It is, “I need more customers TODAY to keep my machines going, and I need cheaper labor than the other guy TODAY to keep my machines going.” So what we see in the trade war is capital vs. Middle America. And for the first time in a long time Middle America is actually scoring some points.
