India has a revolting incidence of reported birth defects, and even worse incidence of unreported birth defects.

The reasons are a) it’s filthy, polluted, irradiated, c) high fertility (poor female bodily resources), d) poor antenatal care, e) poor maternal nutrition, f) high cousin marriage rate, g) high carrier rate for hemoglobinopathies, h) drug use pervasive.

Consanguinity rates in India vary 1%-4% in the northern region to as high as 40-50% in the southern region.

Exposures to teratogens before and after conception.
11%. Alcohol 2.2%. Radiation 4% category X drug 5.71% Other categories of drugs during their first trimester 55.28% for cat. A to 6% for cat. D drugs. Availability of drugs. Non-prescribed drugs and self-medication.

The north is 2/3 Iranic, the south 2/3 Dravidian. I’m all for indian nationalism. But stay on your continent. And keep the genes there. Seriously. And stop making excuses. Clean yourselves, and your country, and learn birth control or sterilization.
