“Cognitive Elite”

I just do my job. I know my job. I’m good at my job. I don’t do other people’s jobs if I can help it.

Conservative intellectuals have largely been a failure for the entirety of the postwar era. There are very good reasons for it.

Conservative anti-intellectualism is one of them.
Assuming the other side will learn is another.
And failing to propose an actionable solution to the institution of government is another.
And failing to recognize the failure of classical liberalism, the enlightenment ambition of a (cheap, easy, dont-have-to-fight-for it) aristocracy of everyone, and the american experiment in the post-civil war period, is sufficient for the rest.
Failing to act to use violence to put down the enemy, and reform the government which we wrongly treated as sacred.

So yeah. I do the intellectual thing.
I do it without traditional conservative (sophomoric) moralizing, and instead work directly with the law.
I do it without hope or pretense in the ability of the other side to act as other than animals.
I do it by proposing actionable solutions in the logic of state formation, that we call institutions, the law, and regulations.
I do it by recognizing the failure of the classical l iberal experiment, the aristocracy of everyone, the christian fantasy of good natured man, and the pretense that the civil war resolution was a catastrophe.
And I do it by the explicit promise of the organized application of violence to demand those changes.

So Yeah. It’s about time we had someone other than Kind hearted Hayek, Gentle Soul Sowell, and justifiably fire-in-the-theater yelling Buchanan.

Raise the jolly roger, and cut throats.
