So as an intellectual he’s doing his job, As a conservative using the conservative technique (intertemporal hyperbole to illustrate a risk), and sending a message that T is failing a core advocacy group. All of these things are True, and Truth is our ‘thing’, not pragmatism.

@curtdoolittle Intentionally Provoking – ok, its a strategy. OK he’s not your employee, But unless he stands-with his ideas, he will be thought of as a dilettante ie the moto-helmet is an affectation that might be tossed IF J-M really is a thinker and really believes what he says
