The difference with P is that it provides s a “3rd position,” it reveals the value of identity politics and higher tribalism without being blinded by tribalism or identity politics.

The question is always in defining the limits: when is a given line of thought beneficial and at what point does it become detrimental?

Healthy identity politics is the equivalent of loving your family.

That is very far from necessitating hatred or vandalization of other families and their identities. In fact, it can serve as a platform for mutual respect.
