Libertarians are a bit silly. The Law seeks 1.Restitution (for the victim), 2.Punishment (to disincentivize the bad actor), 3.Prevention (to disincentivize others). The correct response to the egg would be ‘beating to a bloody pulp’. (Which is the only way to ‘correct’ liberals.)

I am surprised at how many libertarians on my feed think that if a teenager breaks an egg on the back of a man’s head, the man is allowed to punch the teenager in the face. Doesn’t the work of Rothbard clearly limit the retaliation to 2 eggs to the back of the teen’s head?
