We don’t need to cuck with Latin.Feb 12, 2019, 5:49 PMTyler Karl LiaThere is nothing innately more cultured or poetic about Latin. The use of Latin in the place of our Germanic tongue has never made sense to me.

We are not Roman or Latin – most (white) Americans are of Northwestern European ancestry and our founders were of Anglo-Saxon and Dutch blood.

Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were both highly interested in Anglo-Saxon, the former wanted it taught in schools and the latter wanted it for our legal tongue.

Such thoughts would only strengthen our Folk as a whole and provide us with depth and roots.

Play around with this: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Reconstruction:Proto-Germanic/fulk%C4%85

You will have to look up the grammar, but this is a great source for etymology.Feb 12, 2019, 6:26 PMMark FisherAfter reading this post and comments, literally scrolling a couple posts down, my extremely liberal sister-in-law (bless her heart [as we say in the south]) had post this pic in a totally unrelated and non-political context.

I was struck by the symbolism. Pardon the randomness good sirs. It has been a “day”.
