Dollar for return on ease of investment is Python. once you learn Python and SQL, then Javascript.

The best return is still java but it means big bureaucratic companies, and java has a huge api to learn, and is ‘messier’ code of ‘far lower productivity’ by comparison.

As always, (a) take any course at all that you can – my experience is that classes work, (b) repeat with one or two online courses. (c) watch the videos on line over and over again. (d) build an application from scratch that does something interesting for you.

Most people who become very talented are so because they developed an entire application from scratch, and in doing so solved most problems that we can encounter.

Take any work you can get at first. Work your ass off on the first few small jobs. Communicate like hell. And you’re good.
