( Ex-wife, Allora, has just recently remarried – after 10 years. Great woman. One of the generation’s best. He’s a great guy for her. Very happy for her. For them both. She would never tolerate me doing my philosophical work. She was clear she would divorce me for any revolutionary work. And she’d certainly never tolerate where I am going with it now. We cannot always bring those we love on the journey with us. In no small part because we are not clear where it leads, or what it holds. And making the choice to follow our mission rather than our happiness is perhaps the most painful and highest price we pay for doing so. But it’s beautiful when those we love find happiness. It removes some of the guilt. Not all. But some. )
