I understand the primacy of violence and law because I understand that there are many men like me, who are quite capable of predation, organizing predation at scale, and enjoying a life of predation – if not for arbitrary reasons for choosing production. There is a lot of evil in this world and never forget for a moment that any presumption of safety exists only because of a long line of men between you and the hordes.
