Infinity nor infinities exist or can exist, so there is no opportunity to have it both ways. Fantasies assist us in understanding but they do not ever come into existence such that we can make deductions of possibility from their existence.
This particular fallacy, which does not have a name that I know of, is the basis of the other half of philosophical sophisms. (the first half of philosophical sophisms are made possible by incomplete sentences and incomplete grammar. Otherwise they could not be said.)
