SIMPLE FITNESS CURRICULUM
1 – LIFT A FEW HEAVY THINGS WITH YOUR WHOLE BODY, USING ALL THE STRENGTH YOU CAN MUSTER. TWICE A WEEK.
2 – FREE RUN WITH FRIENDS FOR TWO OR MORE MILES IN THE WILD (PARKS/WOODS/TRAILS) TWICE A WEEK – AND NOT FAST. DO A FEW TELEPHONE-POLE SPRINTS ONE DAY, AS FAST AS YOU CAN, JUST UNTIL YOU’RE TIRED.
3 – PLAY PAINTBALL OR PLAY AT PARKOUR EVERY WEEKEND OR TWO FOR 2-4 HOURS.
4 – EAT ONLY FRESH KILL: MEAT AND VEGETABLES
5 – BOOKS ARE GREAT, BLOGS ARE GOOD, MOVIES ARE OK. TV IS NOT. AND PORN IS BAD FOR YOU (REALLY).
(Basketball is also a good fitness sport – I just suck at it. And so are tennis and racketball – but they’re not team sports and they’re too expensive. Only paintball has the combination of mental and physical stress in a team sport with creativity and initiative instead of rules. And parkour is the riskier alternative, and costs nothing.
I found football actually relaxing because you actually don’t do much, and is too dependent upon your size. Baseball is a game of errors. Paintball doesn’t care about anything except brains, teamwork, and endurance.
WHY? Because most inexpensive individual fitness – especially endurance running and weight lifting – is either not competitive, or do not force you to shock your all the movement muscles in your body. We don’t want physical specialization. We want to beneficially stress the body and then let it recover, in a million different spontaneous ways.
I don’t care much about hand-to-hand other than assassinating someone with a knife. I care mostly about small groups conducting raids that cause infrastructure/political/economic damage, and using the destruction as a means of baiting and ‘eliminating’ the people who come to repair or police it.
This means that they only solution the corrupt state has is to use vast resources to defend a vast number of domestic assets.
It means the military will de-facto be in charge.
Which is the prelude to a coup.
Which is the solution that we want.
