TO THE WEEKLY STANDARD

As one of the more influential philosophers of the New Right, I’ll beg to add a little bitter to your toast:
WS is considered deeply and with disdain, as part of the problem, and a masthead for neo-conservatism: a failed program.
You may or may not understand this, but the movement considers Marxism/Cultural Marxism, Randian/Rothbardianism, and Straussian Neo-Conservatism, as equal sinners.
The very idea that an ‘idea’ (e pluribus unum) can bind people more so that kin, tribe, race, or civilization died this week.
We’ve been telling the mainstream this since at least 1990. But the wishful thinking in the parties remained.
I blame this on the southern prohibition against the republican party. But once that evaporated, the natural consequences of a heterogeneous polity indoctrinated by Critical Theory under its various names, came to fruition: a white party and a non-white party. A trend toward Brazil rather than Star Trek.
And it just took the entire edifice of consensus building to see that in the end, people select for KIN OVER CORPORATION.
It’s still a bigger shift than you think.
WE JUST DISPROVED HETEROGENEOUS DEMOCRACY
