THE PURPOSE OF COOPERATION IS WAR

The evolutionary benefit of cooperation was to improve our ability to make war. Against alphas. Against other groups of humans. Against prey. War accelerates evolution.

It was only after we had succeeded at war for a very long time, that we developed cooperation in the division of labor. The division of labor is the result of war.
