CHRISTIANITY’S GOOD RESULTS
Growing up, like a good autistic, I assumed that one’s appearance (attractiveness) was evidence of one’s character. I have no idea why.
I had a ‘friend’, in high school, who was of southern italian descent. Fair skin, black hair, chiseled but aquiline features, perfect skeleton.
He wasn’t just handsome, he transgressed it to the point where he was beautiful. This guy couldn’t have had an IQ over 95, and I suspect it was below 90. But he took great care in his appearance, in his behavior (a good catholic), and in his manners.
It always troubled me.
But this is how I view christianity. A dim christian is a lot better than a dim anything else. And that’s still a pretty good way of looking at things.
