In many things, I’m just as stupid as the next guy. In some things I’m far more stupid than the next guy. Thankfully we have friends who understand us better than we understand ourselves, to show us where we’re stupid. Unfortunately, some of us are a bit thicker than others. And some of us are terribly thick. And it takes hearing the right words at the right time to see our stupidity for what it is.
