I like watches. They have ‘gizmo’ properties, aesthetic properties, craftsmanship properties, and signal all sorts of cool things. Unfortunately they’re useless today. I don’t wear them any longer. Mostly because they interfere with resting my wrist on my laptop. And I am pretty certain to have looked at my phone in the past fifteen minutes.
