The duration of a relationship is ascertainable by the frequency of the display of the disgust response. People who love each other never do it. People who will come apart eventually demonstrate it by one person over contentious issues. People who display it in preferential issues are dead already and they wait only for better opportunity.

A man must never feel a woman is ugly or harmful to him. A woman must never feel a man is weak and harmful to her.

Some very well intentioned and seemingly moral people do not realize that their difficulty in creating and maintaining relationships is because they confuse abstract principles with personal relations.

Disgust responses tell us that we are either immature, vain, ignorant, or self absorbed, or completely incompatible.

We must love unconditionally. It is in business and politics that we must judge conditionally. But in interpersonal relations, love must be unconditional. If it is not or cannot be, then the relationship cannot be.
