I was never as depressed about libertarians and their dogma as I am about continentals and their romanticism. It is one thing to be half wrong but rigorous and unemotional and another to be half right, but emotional and speaking nonsense.

You can at least have an adult conversation with libertarians even if their logic does not correspond with the evidence. But you cannot reason with a conservative who relied upon introspection as if it’s reason.

Genes do their work and we pretend that we are sentient rather than puppets.
