THE RED PILL IN UKRAINE

I have taken the red pill, even though I never really needed a big dose of it in the first place. You should have seen my wife’s face when I said “I am not a support system for a vagina. Either this relationship is beneficial in achieving both our goals or it is not.”

On the other hand I have always believed in helping the women I am with to be all that they can be, and I come from a family of strong women who never see themselves as proletarian victims. And I don’t buy any feminist nonsense at all.

The problem for me, here in Ukraine, is that the level of ..let’s say, suppression, that I would have to engage in is beyond my tolerance level. I am just not willing to become that person. Women are fiercely proud here, never apologize the way we are taught to in the west, and in my view speak unacceptably to men. Because here, they have to. And, men often respond with unacceptable (to me) levels of physicality. I am not willing to behave that way. I still have enough chivalry in me. People in this part of the world don’t.

Talking with a friend tonight, (who I respect very much) reminded me that you can take the red pill in the states. But you don’t need to take it here. And while I’ve taken the red pill, I am willing to return to chivalry. But if I must abandon chivalry, I’d rather not play in that game at all. It’s chivalry as a demonstration of confidence and capability, not it’s more primitive component, physicality, passionate anger, and violence.

The Red Pill returns us to Chivalry. But here, its barbarism. I won’t go there.
