OPPORTUNITY COSTS: PROBLEMS VS PUZZLES

(not to dismiss entertainment, but this is one of my rules)

Chess is like crack or math – I love it, and I love puzzles. I love it like I would love heroin, or cocaine. But puzzles are not problems. Puzzles eat time, and don’t make money. I learned to enjoy puzzles that make money. And those puzzles have a name: ‘problems’.
