I think that makes sense to you, but it doesn’t to me. I can criticize any violation of reciprocity, in display, word (truth) or deed between voluntary members of a polity or involuntary members of a kin group. So, Rule of Law of Reciprocity, Truth before face – not Democracy.

BTW: Priests and Philosophers justify. Scientists Falsify. They proclaim the good to lead, scientists proclaim the true possible and false. The court like the scientist does not proclaim the good. Just the unethical and immoral. The rest is open. It’s only positivists who lie.

Jesus spoke in parable instead of the language of natural law as do most teachers of children, the less able, and the ignorant: those lacking agency. But Jesus’ teaching was a lesson in the natural law of cooperation: 1) the eradication of hatred from the human heart. 2) the extension of familial love to kith and kin. 3) the demand for personal acts of charity and personal cost, 4) the extension of exhaustive forgiveness before punishment, enserfment, enslavement, death, or war, 5) and placing faith in doing so, despite the apparent risk and cost. It was those that followed after his death that wrapped his lesson in natural law in mysticism – not he.
