The problem isnt so much ‘news’ (awareness) but analysis) vs Political Posturing. I sort of run news while I’m working. The truth is not much of it’s worthy of recommendation. I just think the TLDR guys are the new generation of pretty honest reporters and that they’re pretty balanced and accurate in their analysis.

TLDR News, Drivingmarkets, StoicMedia, Economics Explained, Zeihan, Caspian Report, WhatifaltHist, Kings and Generals.

Mostly I enjoy channels that educate the public so that I don’t have to. šŸ˜‰

  • BEST NEWS AND ANALYSIS I would recommend TLDR as the best current news source av

    BEST NEWS AND ANALYSIS
I would recommend TLDR as the best current news source available – and they’re on youtube. They have five channels for slightly different regional emphasis:
    TLDR UK:  / tldrnews
    TLDR EU: /tldrnewseu
    TLDR Global:  / tldrglobal
    TLDR Daily:  / tldrdaily
    TLDR Business:  / tldrbusiness

    OTHERS
INDIA: Palki Sharma has moved from WION to FirstPost and is doubling down on Indian Nationalism. Which is fine, except she’s taken a more anti-american and anti-european spin on top of their prior anti-british spin. None of which is constructive given the anglosphere treats india as part of the family as we do Japan and South Korea.

MENA: Al Jazeera is still a reasonably reliable source that emphasizes relations with that part of the world.

ALBANIA: https://t.co/KdZIh4EFwa is an aggregator using copy-pasta of other news sources. And while that’s questionable biz ethics, it does result in a pretty broad coverage.

USNEWS?: There really is no point to listening to US news for anything other than wealther and traffic. šŸ˜‰
BBC News has gone over the top.
    French News has also.
    German News has also.
And RU well, they have become the woke mirror image.

  • I didn’t say that. I said they STAY in the shadows because they’ll be canceled.

I didn’t say that. I said they STAY in the shadows because they’ll be canceled. You are making an argument to general consensus that is biased toward those of us with average or above IQ, and contrary to the evidence. Easy demonstration: Search amazon for “intelligence assessment” then “IQ intelligence testing” and look at the difference in the lists and what the authors argue. Then search the various psychology publications, and then the APA which is the major psychology association in the states. I deal with this nonsense every day. So does Steve Sailer. And I just reiterated my position on Taleb.

    “Arrogance”.
It’s not arrogance if it’s true. It’s impatience and intolerance made possible by trait disagreeableness and conscientiousness that causes one to place truth over agreement conformity displeasure and offense.

Or, just being an intelligent responsible adult male. šŸ˜‰

–“Q: Curt; How did you come to these conclusions? Reading list somewhere?”—

Inventing and applying the The Method (P-Method) and The Grammars (the Logics) to produce the First Principles of each of the sciences (Physical, Behavioral, Evolutionary, and Formal/Logical), which in turn results in a formal, operational, constructive logic of all existence. Then iteratively explaining everything in this constructive logic from entropy to mass to life to cooperation to speech to ideas. By rough analogy there is a logical equivalent to geometry that produces roughly the same utility: the ternary logic of evolutionary computation.

I have no idea what that sounds like to you and I’m sure I wouldn’t understand what I wrote without having done it. Most of the team recommends it takes about a year to get your head around it, and two years or more to become fluent in it, and more to master it So it’s rougly the same as learning say, object oritented programming, database analysis and design, and systems analysis, along with the resulting design patterns. In that sense It’s harder than programming but easier than mathematics. Why? Nature is stuck with pretty simple tools, but it can produce anyting in vast numbers. So it’s a very simple state machine: it has only one rule (more), one means (ternary logic) and one process to accomplish it (evolutionary computation by combination and recombination).

Reading list is possible. Multiple people in our group have worked through it. Martin Stepan (@TheAutistocrat) is a machine when it comes to devouring the literature. But it’s probably easier just to follow the team and learn.

If you want our reading list it’s at, though I don’t believe it’s up to date.
