I never go there. But yes, that’s an obvious conclusion. Same for redistribution of men’s income, when the only net contributors to taxation are white men over 35.

Most rich people support progressive taxation because they fail to perceive themselves as “rich.”
Many comparatively rich people support more redistribution of wealth because they believe that there is a considerable share of the population with (even) higher incomes, who would bear the cost.
Everyone virtue signals. Then acts with self interest.

A lot of things would be different in a good way, largely the restoration of the civil society, the end of systemic parasitism and rent seeking, and the apparatus of the state directed to the reduction of costs of producing families.
