OCCAM’S RAZOR: GROWNUP ANALYSIS OF PRIGOZHIN EVENT

Possible theory on what went down.
    by damianoram @damianoram

    – Prigozin didn’t have any political ambitions.
    – He just wanted out, because Backmut was a useless meat grinder.
    – In Africa he had a much better business with much less risk.
    – The Russian Ministry of Defence would not let them go and strike at them if they tried.
    – The only way out for him was to get rid of Shoigu and make a show of strength.

    So…
    – He stockpiled ammunition pretending the MoD wasn’t sending any.
    – Did the most outrageous thing possible clarifying that he wasn’t against Putin but against Shoigu (giving Putin an out in the negotiation)

    And….
    – FSB and others in power potentially stand to gain by weakening Putin but not by having Prigozin as a new leader. – FSB didn’t oppose him during the “coup” because they knew that what he wanted was just to negotiate amnesty and exhile for himself and his people.
    – Some of business in Africa may be related to the same people who didn’t oppose him during the “coup”. This increases the odds that it may be in someone’s interest for him to get back to it. (This is speculation)

    Possible next steps:
    – The people who are ready to make a move on Putin are now waiting for the fallout from the “coup attempt” to see a real opening.
    – They need to re-open to the west for business to resume.
    – The narrative of the war being useless started by Prigozin will give them an excuse to retreat from Ukraine (this is me hoping)
    – They are (hopefully) looking to talk to security services in the west so they can establish trust, clarify their objectives and have legitimacy

CD: This is the most parsimonious pragmatic explanation that satisfies the incentives of all parties to act as they did. In other words, Occam’s Razor doesn’t get much sharper than this.

WHAT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WANTS? A REPUBLIC.
    (that’s our unique inheritance)

    So, you’re wrong.

Republicans just don’t want an authoritarian state government or economy like western european social democracies (france) because they are unsurvivable, and american world advantage that drives the world’s innovation and consumption would be unsurvivable.

This is especially true given the exhaustion of western institutional and technological advantage by globalization, the exhaustion of non-western group potential under the rules based order that allowed globalization, and the failure of globalization to end the age of authoritarian agrarian empires because the west was too ‘kind’ to China and Russia instead of finishing the transition in world war two.

Westerners are W.E.I.R.D. And our experience with immigration and multiculturalism has demonstrated we remain so – and the rest of the world can’t adapt to western high trust responsibility (“Whiteness”). So they have given up on Republics (liberalism) and are returning to the safety of low trust authoritarianism.

    Our experimental project has failed.

The Republicans and now the Court are trying to restore rule of law, by the natural law, of commonality (in law) concurrency in voting) and individual responsibility and to end legal activism, circumventing commonality and concurrency.

Because they are trying to preserve the republic (rule of law, natural law, commonality, concurrency) that requires we agree by class and region when voting, and before passing legislation, or codifying findings of the court.

And you are trying to create a democracy (popular rule) which always and everywhere must without exception result in a race to the bottom of authority, corruption, and poverty.

Though as far as I know the restoration of the republic will require devolution of much of the federal government (domestic empire) back to the states. (And this is toing to happen anyway if we are to avoid a bloody house to house civil war on the scale of the wars of religion.)

Why? Conservative maximization of individual responsibility in exchange for liberty (prohibition on authority) vs progressive minimization of responsibiilty in exchange for safety (generating demand for authority).

Simple example: western conservative truth-before-face and the high trust result, and progressive face-before-truth (woke) and the decline in social trust (bowling alone).

You feel like you’re right. But you’re wrong, and you must be, and there is no possibility that you’re not. It’s just science.

–“In Ukraine, the society is much stronger than the state. In Russia the state is much stronger than the society. So in Ukraine, the most cunning plans cannot be implemented without the approval of the people. So only the Ukrainian people can decide their future.”– Nobel Peace Prize Winner Dmitry Muratov

As it should be. The rule of law, the will of the people within it, and the actions of the state within both.

    The Etymology of “Court”
From the notion of “surroundings of a sovereign in his regal state” (c. 1200) comes the legal meaning “a tribunal for judicial investigation” (c. 1300, early assemblies for justice were overseen by the sovereign personally), also “hall or chamber where justice is administered” (c. 1300). As an adjective, “pertaining to a court,” late 13c.

Q: “DO YOU EVER FIND IT WEIRD BEING A YANK AND A MONARCHIST?”

I was surprised, yes. But I’ve come to undrestand it’s just the result of doing the science.

I just follow the evidence. It was rather late in life that I understood that the english completed the restoration of greek reason and politics and roman legislation and administration in the british invention of the modern empirical (scientific) dutiful rule of law state.

And that the USA as a british colony, had created a constitution that codified that invention, completing Aristotle’s project of a scientific (natural) government, but failed to include the presumptions inherent in that innovation: the rule of law by the natural law by commonality and concurrency as the science of cooperation, and the government as a hierarchy of courts to limit us to the science of cooperation by that law, commonality, and concurrency, and the reason being to prohibit authority by the maximization of individual responsibility, with participation in self determination by evidence of taking and demonstrating that responsibility.

They had only an intuition of the existence of evolution but for all intents and purposes our ancient ancestors created the most evolutionary society and government with the least resistance to discoverty, innovation, application, adaptation, and evolution in human history, or that is humanly possible.

As such the west evolved faster than the rest combined in the bronze, iron, and steel ages.

However, we failed to learn that we cannot domesticate rule, or cooperate with peoples who are inferior in institutions and development becuse of their demographics and tradition.

So there is a conflict between the ancestral desire to create empires to profit from trade, and the natural tendency of man to desire federations of states that all profit from trade but distribute the cost of government and war and in doing so resists empires -as we are having to resist three imperial civilizations today.

They can only do so if they all adhere to natural law.

The Natural Government consists of a hierarchy of Juries (courts):
The Four Sets of the Laws of Nature (Logical, Physical, Behavioral, Evolutionary)
… < The Natural Law of Cooperation
… … < A Constitution Producing that Hierarchy of Courts under that natural law
… … … < A Monarchy as judge of Last Resort , above the law in the restoration of the law.
    … … … … < A Cabinet for the Administation of the Commons
… … … … … < A Parliament of houses or Regions and Class as a Political Court (Negativa) and Market between the Regions and Classes (Positiva)
    … … … … … … < The Courts for the Resolution of Substantive Harms
    … … … … … … … < A Nobility for the resolution of common conflicts
    … … … … … … … … < A Church for the restolution of moral disputes
… … … … … … … … … < Every man as his own legislature for himself and his family in federation with all other men in the polity.
    … … … … … … … … … … < Every woman as the legislature for herself and her childen.

This is a hierarchy of responsibility given domains of DEMONSTRATED (empirical) interest and comptency
