“There is nothing so useful in the home as a guilty husband.”
The degree of labor extraction a woman can obtain from a man is determined by BOTH her ability to identify and exploit opportunities for guilt, AND her ability to trade care, affection and sex. The economics of this indicates that over time, in any relationship, a woman will seek to reduce her costs and rely upon guilt as often as possible.
The only male defense then, is to **never feel guilty**. Which is what happens in most relationships. Both parties reduce their efforts until they justify reducing their efforts, and therefore they cause the loss of hope for any reward, and they remain together purely out of the problem of opportunity costs: they aren’t marketable any longer.
We can scientifically demonstrate that women have much higher expectations of men than men of women. I kind of wonder if this is some female genetic bias: that the reason they feel attracted to men is the promise extraction of labor. And males the promise of extraction of sex.

My mom did me a great favor, which was to teach me to compliment women in particular, on something small that they had DONE (rather than their bodies obviously), and that’s turned out to be a very useful habit to get into. Guys like it a lot too. So I compliment the hell out of men on whatever I can. Because almost nobody does. It’s like throwing rose petals into the air. It just makes the world a better place.
I really don’t notice men paying much rude attention to women here. I’m sure it happens but maybe not around the kind of people I associate with. Men and women just talk to each other. And there is a lot of glance-look-flirt subtlety (which is incomprehensible to me). And it’s all pretty honest and direct and free of all that. Women are incredibly forward. I had one woman grab my by the hair and forcibly kiss me. Another just told me her husband was out for the weekend and invited me over. (um..no thanks.) But most of the women just ask you to dance, or start pleasant conversations. Some are a little too demure. And I get in a little trouble because I’m extremely friendly and playful but really not interested in other than just fun.

Let us assume that the human brain requires N amount of positive stimulation to remain in a state of calm, or rather, constant reward from exposure to stimuli. (it does).
Lets assume that humans have M{} possible forms of stimulation. (we do).
Lets assume that males have M{}-Mx{} fewer forms of stimulation available to them. (They do.)
Lets assume that x{} forms of stimulation consist of empathic experiences. (they do)
That would, alone, without any further requirement, produce greater specialization in abstractions in males, than females.
We all start out female. THE MALE BRAIN IS DAMAGED IN UTERO TO PRODUCE THIS OUTCOME: SPECIALIZATION.

YOU DON’T HIT WOMEN.
Sorry guys, but, yes, we all understand that women are pretty much all some degree of crazy. But a far as I can tell it’s their right to be crazy. It may even be a necessity for them. But as long as they aren’t trying to pierce the surface of your body with a foreign object, you don’t hit them.
Ever. Never ever.
There are certain costs of doing business so to speak. Ignoring crazy is one of them. Remind women that your life is yours to live and that the only ‘good’ is one that suits both your interests according to your own priorities. There is no abstract good.
The way it works is, that in the womb, we get brain damaged by the mother, as part of the process of turning off what is female and turning on what is male. What remains is what’s male. And yes, it takes us longer to mature because of that in-utero damage to our brains. We have to sort of ‘grow around’ it to compensate for the damage. In exchange we get to be not-crazy: factual and rational, and perfectly happy in a world with food, beer, and fire to stare at. They get stuck in their world of crazy, empathic, and irrational, so that they can understand children, and be maniacally driven to care for such annoying things as babies (and us).
So you know, it’s just a cost of doing business.
You don’t hit them. Ever. You walk away. You keep your own bank accounts, off shore it if you must. But you walk away. Believe it or not there are far more women in this world than men, and they need us more than we need them. ‘Cause we have much lower maintenance costs by our nature. Just how it is. The trend looks like about a third of men, and as much as forty percent will drop out of participation in the work force, and out of self sacrifice for society. (If we aren’t there already to some degree.)
Let the market do its work.
Better to be John Galt than a woman-beater.
