(FB 1541960540 Timestamp) —“Will you allow the greatest civilization ever built to be destroyed because you fear being called a racist? Or because you accepted the false God of equality? Or because liberalism and capitalism brainwashed you into mass consumerism and materialism? Or because of the obsession over ever expanding “rights”? Why do you accept the insanity that people lower than you should be “equal in the eyes of the law”? You know they’re not equal to you for a reason, right? Or will you stand for truth, duty, reciprocity, and rule of law at any cost?”— @Chris M. Silbaugh

(FB 1542036325 Timestamp) —“Our enemies have been able to control our violent retributions by asking, “Is that the Christian thing to do?” or restraining us through laughable paper docs like the Geneva Convention. Put the fun and personal profit back in warfare and you’ll have a 100,000 men acting about dishing out the ultra violence, doing the old in-out, in-out, and making Clockwork Orange look like a Disney love story.”— James Santagata (CD: I ask “What would Vlad Do?” (Salt the earth, livestock, bodies and all), or “What would the Khan do?” (Slaughter to set an example) or “What would Rome Do” (raze carthage to the ground), or “What would Alexander do?”(Kill their leaders and take over their families). The peace of Westphalia was a mistake.)

(FB 1542116608 Timestamp) I am finally getting to understand how Orthodox civ (post soviet) interprets criticism of the church given the good it has done for them. This is a rather significant problem because christianity in a traditional society like theirs retains its counterbalance to the state. So a christian is a good person in orthodoxy, whereas a natural law constitutionalist so to speak is that person in america and a bit less so in the UK until their empire collapsed under them and they fell into french virtue signaling. We have a different problem here.

(FB 1542211837 Timestamp) THE WEST AND TRAGEDY VS SUFFERING If you don’t understand Nietzsche’s insight that tragedy was the west’s alternative to semitic suffering, which socialized the problem of difficulty rather than privatizing it, then you do not understand either Nietzsche nor the uniqueness of the west. Heroism bred Tragedy. And it is Tragedy vs Suffering that separates the west from the rest.

(FB 1542210064 Timestamp) PETERSON: ONLY SIGNIFICANT CRITICISM Central, and Only Significant Criticism: I am not keen on Peterson’s restoration of Stoicism while at the same time preserving the semitic (suffering) rather than the greek (tragic-heroic). There is nothing good in the semitic myths that is not better provided by the european myths. Nothing. And it is those semitic myths, suffering, and submission that were and are the antithesis of tragedy, and heroism upon which all western civilization developed in the ancient and modern worlds.
