Not an argument. Make an argument or admit that you can’t, and hold an opinion on belief or faith, unsupported by the evidence. A Religion means the narrative transfer of a system of measurement that conveys a group cooperative strategy by means of establishing fictional debts.

This depends on your description of religion. The classical definition doesn’t require false knowledge.
You can make these claims (ad homs) but they won’t survive. Don’t pretend you have wisdom or an argument when you have only opinion not backed by the science.

I have scienced religion as far as I know more thoroughly than anyone in history. So I suspect, in twitter, it is harder to interpret my words on this subject than others.

Islam sells irresponsibility – or rather a tiny radius of responsibility. The Japanese and Koreans are like the Germanics, the most responsible people on earth.
AFAIK we are post-religion in the ‘responsible world’ and religion satisfies powerlessness in the irresponsible world.

If I have to write or decide law it’s not. Technically it’s the metaphysical presumptions of western natural religion in the formal sense. If we are going to just communicate with people, cult is a perfectly useful shorthand. 😉

So yes, comparing, by analogy, the metaphysics and devotion we can use use cult as an analogy, just as we can use philosophy as an analogy for chinese wisdom, or semitic theology. But these things are not in fact the same. Only similiar. (Grammars and all that… 😉 )
