We conquered a primitive race and took their land and dragged the world out of ignorance poverty hard labor, starvation and disease using the rewards of doing so.

Are you saying turks and arabs and africans are in the process of conquering Germany?

“But above all things [prince] must keep his hands off the property of others, because men more quickly forget the death of their father than the loss of their patrimony.” …. “A prince ought to inspire fear in such a way that, if he does not win love, he avoids hatred; because he can endure very well being feared while he is not hated, which will always be as long as he abstains from despoiling the property of his citizens, and from their women.” — – Niccolò Machiavelli, observing that the rule over men can be maintained only as long as their demonstrated interests are left alone.

  • Yes, Norms Are Common Property

YES, NORMS ARE COMMON PROPERTY by Martin Stepan

—“So if such a thing as via-positiva norms do exist, is it possible for there to be violations of reciprocity by not adhering to said via positive norms? Or would this just be considered to be a violation of someone’s notion of the “the good”, and therefore intangible property if they show a willingness to defend it?”—Michael Bernard

As long as those norms remain someone’s demonstrated interest, you can violate reciprocity by subverting them. You can always go live somewhere else where they’ll have you and norms will be more to your liking.

  • “The Right to Repair”

Think about it for a moment: What will “Right To Repair” do to the economy? What are the short and long term consequences? How will it affect prices? Engineering? Jobs? What does it mean for consumer protection? What does it mean for credit markets?
