  • Why Has Socialism, Or “socialism Of Chinese Characteristics” Been So Successful In China?

It hasn’t been. Its state corporatism that has been successful in china. China is run as a for-profit corporation of 1+billion people, using the country’s intergenerational borrowing capacity to attempt to create a modern consumer economy by using that borrowing capacity to move vast numbers of people from villages to urban centers in the hope that it will generate sustainable economic velocity.

The outcome is good so far but just as the french revolution’s experiment is not quite over, that of china has a long way to go yet. It is a very poor, very corrupt country that remains very poor very corrupt.

And capital is fleeing the country like rats leaving a sinking ship – so that is pretty good evidence that those living there with resources know that it will soon end.

    NEW FEATURES IN OVERSING.

Don’t remember if I’ve talked about it, but we’ve added freelancer market features to Oversing. This means that freelancers can join, you can put tasks, jobs, projects, into the marketplace and ask for bids or proposals on them. People can submit proposals, including their own task list, story collection or project plan. And then book time, expenses, and issue invoices, and make payments within the interface, just by creating each kind of task.

    It’s pretty awsome.

It’s more awesome if we can ship it. lol

A taxi driver in Kiev can make $500 a month. Which seems small. Until you realize that most people make 200 or less. And raise families on it.

  • Is 93k A Good Income To Live In Bellevue, Wa?

It’s an ‘average’ income for an individual and below average for a family. Bellevue is among the top three cities in America to live in – in part because it never had an industrial center, and no black (or other underclass) immigration. So you pay for it. The prices in the ‘green zone’ keep the riff-raff out. Bellvue is home to 200K family incomes and above. The only exceptions are the ‘old’ areas on the east side near I-90. Expect to pay twice what you’d expect for a lousy home. Expect to pay less at the top of the market.

Why? Microsoft gave more of its profits to employees than any company in history, and may have given more to its employees than all companies in history combined. Those days are gone but that’s what created bellevue.

So it’s a nice place to live – when it’s not raining.
    It’s always raining.

  • LABOR vs CALCULATING, ORGANIZING, NEGOTIATING, RISKING. (important) Labor itself

LABOR vs CALCULATING, ORGANIZING, NEGOTIATING, RISKING.

    (important)

Labor itself is trivial in its contribution to value compared with the organization of production, and the organization of the institutions that make possible the organization of production at scale. We get more paid for calculating than laboring, more for organizing than calculating, more for negotiating than organizing, more for risking the accumulated results of laboring, calculating, organizing, negotiating, and risking more than for negotiating. Man does not need to persuade the physical world to choose from a multitude of options according to preference. The physical world cannot choose. Man can. And it is convincing large numbers of people to chose to produce some set of various goods and services in an enormous complex web versus choose to work toward producing some other set that is the difficult job that individuals in each layer of our hierarchy are paid more for, than the labor to force the world to change, versus the calculating, organizing, negotating, and risking that it takes man to change.

  • The conservative organizing principle is meritocracy, and a significant percenta

The conservative organizing principle is meritocracy, and a significant percentage of mankind cannot productively compete.

The primary reason being that they cannot compete productively is that they are nearly impossible to train, difficult and expensive to train, or more expensive to train than the organization of reproduction, production, and commons can tolerate.

The conservative promise that everyone can rise if he so chooses, is false.

The conservative belief that everyone desires liberty is false – they desire consumption. But they lack the capacity to produce other than by physical means, and under direct instruction.

The conservative belief that we all can be raised to join the aristocracy is false – we cannot be – some of us lack the character.

The conservative pretense that democracy is possible outside of the natural aristocracy is predicated on these lies: that we can achieve equality through discipline.

But we have achieved our relative equality in the west through eugenics: in reproduction, in production, in commons. And commonly through warfare, and consistently through hanging (culling).

Conservatism is a eugenic evolutionary strategy and that because of this genetic evolutionary strategy we have culled the ranks of the bottom, and limited our numbers by doing so, thereby concentrating reproduction in our best people. We have been practicing this evolutionary strategy aggressively for 1000, cautiously for 2000, in one way or another for at least 3500 if not 4500, and possibly as long as 7000 years.

When in fact, small percentages of the (genetic)upper proletariat, much of the (genetic)lower middle class, most of the (genetic)middle class, and nearly all of the (genetic)upper middle and (genetic)upper classes can do so. This is in fact what ‘class’ means in practice. That we vary by economic class a lot, vary by social class less so, and vary by genetic class very, very little, has no impact on the fact that the primary determinant of social and economic class is genetic class.

It is not only the left that lies. Conservatives lie as well.

And we lie to ourselves when we try to enfranchise and convert those people without our evolutionary history, and therefore similarly narrow distributions of talents and defects.

We – the majority genetic middle class – used the lie of democracy to seized power from the aristocracy.

And the left – majority genetic lower class – uses it to seizes power from us.

Democracy is a very bad idea.

    It’s unnatural.

    It’s dysgenic.

And it is incompatible with our civilization.

It was just an excuse to use our numbers to defeat the aristocratic minority, rather than preserve them, while ADDING ourselves – the those who organize production – to leadership in aristocratic civiization: those who organize the ability to organize economically.

    Aristocracy made us.
