    I have a different job. We can make a lot of claims. So far we’re not seeing much of anything manifest other than hyper-availability of capital in narrow sectors leads to overcompensation and ‘investment’ in speculative returns.

    I don’t see the new renaissance. I see a correction as horrific as the plague and great depression at once, becuase the birth rate collapse is of greater scale than the plague, the best people are not reproducing and IQ is precipitous, and we failed to end enough of the surviving agrarian empires, and we failed to reform our government upon (a) completing settlement of the continent (b) and the end of the communist era, and now (c) the damage caused by the feminization of institutions which is likely irreversible.

    I see tech leaving ‘us guys’ meaning those that are capable of rare and challenging work continuing our climb, and the decimation of white collar work, restoring the viability of blue collar work.

    The left killed us. Women were the poison they used. Immigration prevented our recovery. We lack the population and IQ point advantage we began with. And we have lost demographic control of our institutions that would be necessary for recovery. And even then we’ve exhausted the classical liberal era of expansion by conquest using entrepreneurs instead of state financing. And that’s most obvious in the success of fascism and chinese fascism to use the state not for caretaking (as the west did because of leftism) but for generation of competitive advantage.

    I just don’t see it. And I’m not wrong very often. We are always constrained by limits. Even if AI is a leap, it doesn’t have hands and it can only work through humans. We need those humans. And it looks like we’re going to have a five to eight year processor winter if that ‘trillion dollar’ (nonsense) investment doesn’t happen yesterday.

    Women are wonderful at caretaking, interpersonal, and social scale where empathizing is more valuable than systematizing. The opposite is true of men, who are more valuable at economic and political scale, where systematizing is more valuable than empathizing. This is why I recommend that if you want to have women in an electorate then they must have their own house, even though the data is pretty clear that women are unfit for management of anything larger than a social club. Even then they turn most of them into cat fights.

    The difference will be the vast migration of people from the production of goods, services, and information for the purpose of consumption to the production of COMMONS. Hopefully we can make that transformation with the least painful disruption by planning for, and facilitating it ahead of time.
    Would you rather live in a vast open air museum and park of a world, or in a blade runner dystopia? It’s not complicated. And economically it’s trivial.

    I should note that despite a decade of effort, the cost efficiency of indian outsourcing does not play out as expected or claimed. And I should note that the marketing staff of my company did the research for microsoft back in the mid 2000s, and then it was not a savings but an investment in the possibility it might be.
    The difference arises when the work is largely maintenance or production, and not innovation and response time, and if you can hire a full time team at large scale so that the people are consistent, there is little turnover so knowledge is retained, and the company has a meaningful interest you as a customer. In other words you cannot outsource responsibility. Or you end up paying the companies you should have in the first place to ‘salvage’ what they can.
    Americans and Europeans should take note that yes, microsoft has a global customer base … but that the tech sector whether microsoft, google, facebook, or apple, are effectively at war against the white male population of our countries.

    Also note that microsoft and Amazon consumer sectors are NOT their core business. Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS produce the majority of the revenue for both companies, with google the ‘unwanted stepchild’ for having failed at it, and now pivoting to try to catch up. In fact, I’m more than a little concerned that the domestic influence of Amazon is so profound while it’s not the moneymaker for the company.

    APPLE
    Only 34% of Apple employees are white males.

    FACEBOOK
    Only 30% of Apple employees are white males.
    FB set the goal of at least 50% by 2024.
    Facebook intentionally obscures it’s measures, so I’m not quite how accurate these are.

    GOOGLE
    Only 30% of google employees are white males.

    MICROSOFT
    Only 32% of Microsoft Employees are White Males. 47% of Microsoft Employees are Ethnic Europeans, and of them 70% are male ethnic europeans.

    MORE MICROSOFT…
    Women 30% – women now make up more than 30% of the Microsoft’s core* workforce worldwide.
    Racial and ethnic minorities $1.008 vs $1.000 whites – those who are rewards eligible combined earn $1.008 total pay for every $1.000 earned by U.S. rewards-eligible white employees with the same job title and level and considering tenure.
    Inside the U.S., women $1.007 vs $1.000 men – women who are rewards eligible earn $1.007 total pay for every $1.000 earned by rewards-eligible employees who are men and have the same job title and level and considering tenure.
    Racial and ethnic minority employees 53.2% – now make up 53.2% of Microsoft’s core U.S. workforce, up 1.9 percentage points from last year.
    Asian 35.8% – representation has grown by 0.3 percentage points to 35.8%, and has grown by 3.9 percentage points since 2018.
    Black and African American 6.6% – representation grew 0.9 percentage points to 6.6%, the highest year-over-year increase in the past five years.
    Hispanic and Latinx representation grew 0.6 percentage points to 7.6%, the highest year-over-year increase in the past five years.
    Multiracial representation is 2.6%, up 0.1 percentage point from last year.
