THE KHAN… AND PROFITING FROM RULE

The Khan was planning to destroy the Chinese, sack the cities and kill the people. His advisors returned and explained how much wealth he would have if rather than killing and sacking, he taxed them instead.

We tend to look at our competitors under democracy incorrectly. They are serfs if we choose to make them serfs. They are taxable if we choose to tax them. And to tax them richly we need only rule them as they cannot rule themselves.

We have one purpose in this world as a minority – and that is to rule.

Because we are the only people fit to rule.

  • Is Scalping Moral

Is your example different from someone buying blocks of the best tix for a rock concert, and then selling those tix for profit at far higher prices?

Well, I can go other way with a private property, but not common property. We cannot privatize the commons. that’s the entire point of commons. I’m not big on scalping. Although what scalping does is make people who have money and no time pay a premium for not waiting in line – and to some degree I find that hard to argue with.

We killed previous coins and currency because we wouldn’t accept them. We will kill the new $20 by not accepting them. It’s an opportunity. Don’t accept them from banks, or merchants. Say they look counterfeit to you and you won’t accept them.

For the record, Andrew Jackson must be enormously relieved to be disassociated with this monetary system. It is entirely unworthy of him.

Of course we know why: Destruction of the family, mobile population, certainty of elder poverty, failure of hyper-consumerism.

  • Men Will Follow Rational Incentives – Women Not So.

(by Eli Harman) [V]oting either directs violence, or it is a substitute for violence. But the actual violence, supplied to carry the vote into effect, will be supplied by men. And the potential violence, which may prevent the vote being carried into effect, will be *not supplied* by men. Therefore, women are utterly superfluous to the whole process. Voting, for them, is just a source of windfall boons, of unearned rents, which they could in no other way obtain for themselves. When allowing women to participate in voting becomes too costly (and I would argue it already has, most just haven’t realized it yet) then it will no longer be in the interests of men to supply the violence to carry votes into effect, or refrain from supplying violence to prevent them being carried into effect. And we’ll start doing something else. If we don’t, women will consume and destroy everything. Their wishful thinking recognizes and imposes no limits upon itself.
