That’s an oversimplification. The government gets money from ‘credit money’ which is generated out of thin air, which is why we have a national debt, that is then inflated away. We also sell this thing called the dollar for use in international trade. That pays for the military.

I know this is …challenging … but our military is ‘free’ through the sale of the dollar as a reserve currency. The public doesn’t pay for it. If you want me to explain this in detail I can but I’ve done it so many times I’d rather not. 😉

Lastly I don’t know how to value all of this in the short term b/c rates of reproduction are purging the impulsive classes that can afford impulsivity, but expanding the impulsive classe that can’t while ‘Trads’ are maintaining replacement reproduction. Try to predict all that!

(a) sexual impulse requires a bit of ‘boredom’.
(b) and a bit of opportunity
(c) saturation with ‘entertainment’ is driving down both
(d) So only certain people pursue and get sex – and its because extroversion and high impulsivity drive them to human entertainment.

That there’s an enduring value to any relationship in the present political, social, economic, and medical context. AFAIK length of a relationship is determined by the lack of superior choices (Sexual Market Value) of both members in it. Asymmetry of choice ends relationships.
