They’re from the bottom third (or were) yet they’re paid the median, and they have benefits as if they were upper middle class.

AFAIK It’s the full maintenance program package. They only cost 6-9M USD to manufacture. But ammo, training, maintenance, maintenance tools and equipment, and future upgrades are included in the price. (Usually becomes public at some point and that’s how the deals ususally look.)

The difference is that we (americans) believe in the morality and hard work of the Polish people and we didn’t believe the same of the greeks (and were correct). So debt forgiveness for political assistance will ensure that rearmament for poland is somehow subsidized quietly.

Any population consists of a distribution of interests and biases. Unions convert a distribution into a concentration. This concentration of capital is large and influential. Public bias: Teachers, schools, and unions may be collectively bad by ‘my teacher’ is ok(ingroup defense)

(The other problems are tenure, which is unsuitable for teachers (vs profs), and unions. Both of which work against the commons for the private benefit of the teachers (a private consumption of a common good) at the cost of the students, and the polity.)

**We stopped rewarding journalists for producing TESTIMONY under anglo norms, and started rewarding them for attention. This is the negative consequence of democratizing the production of news, without regulating entrants to anglo testimonial norms, by legislation and regulation.

Marc(all), thinking about this one: Attributing difference in human capital vs difference in available information, capital formation, and most importantly, the emergence of the VC sector as replacement for the military-industrial complex’s prior control of strategic investment.

The first mover in any technology that requires large capital investment obtains a first mover advantage in TIME. However, second and third movers learn from the failures of the first movers, and implement better technology. ie: european tv resolution, 220v power, and their grid.

This tweet isn’t generating the conflict discussion I’d hoped. Here is the thing: These IQ estimates are from SAT scores. As the economy worsens better people CAN and some do go into high school ed. What about preschool, grade school, middle school teachers? Why variation?

If you investigate the average IQ of school teachers you’ll be horrified that our children are being taught by women that are 1SD below average…. Now do you wonder why they’re suggestable? Pliable? Easy to indoctrinate?
