I’m trying to provide the education my people were deprived of, so that they could be converted from competent citizens into incompetent subjects.

    No. Really.

Behavior, economics, law, group strategy, comparative civilization, the reason the west always outpaced the rest, how the enemy created the present crisis, and how to solve it.

(Yeah. I know you don’t care about all the methodology and logic stuff. But I do. Everything else is just a product of it. So please put up with my fascination. πŸ˜‰ )

    CURT: “DEMOCRACY IN INDIA?”

I’m not quite sure what you’re asking by ‘how democracy works in India?”

If you want a general answer as to why indians ‘get along’ its that Hindu civilization and ‘religion’ is extremely plastic with clear duties responsibilities and such (like a social army almost) and it’s been that way so long, and has survived so many attempts by invaders to change it,that it’s just durable.,

It’s also a ‘nice’ religion. Really. SOmewhat to the military and strategic disadvantage of indians.

India is an old civilization but a relatively new country, and as a country it faces the problem of scale. It needs to ‘break up’ in to a federation with more local autonomy. But it can’t until corruption is suppressed, and the Hindu-islam problem is solved.

Of late, India is doing much better economically, but it is returning to relative autocracy (by western standards, not necessarily true).

The ‘truthful’ answer is that Islam has been and remains a threat to India, so the government is doubling down on religiosity in order to gradually suppress Islam and the threat of Islam to any and all civilized peoples.

So, even with that question, India like Islam, faces the problem that as a new country, the corruption created by both their soviet-era, and post-soviet liberal era, have led to a sufficient loss of faith in government, that they are backsliding into religiosity.

IMO India will be fine. But they must do whatever possible to create a Hindu civilization state that gradually eliminates Islam so that the jewish/woke-cult vs europeans that crushes political systems is not replicated in india.

No evidence of it at all in history. Instead everywhere at every time, a middle-class upper middle class, or lower upper class group with common interests devises a means of rotation of elites, and ‘sells’ the bottom classes on making it happen. Like always labor is organized it…

It’s not ignoring. It’s that they’re self-destructive. They can’t tolerate the Ghandi Game. That’s why they have no leaders, no ideas, no solutions, no platform. Instead, they’re angry, rageful, ignorant, arrogant, and overconfident in failed ideas like authoritarianism in religion and state. And so they’re unorganizable. So the organization, the work, the thinking, is coming from the enfranchised classes instead. While the underclasses spin like pinwheels in the wind.

    (ruminations)
Well, the reason I lose my patience with the Right online, is largely a class problem. It’s lower class whites that are disenfranchised. And it’s the disenfranchised that complain the most and loudest. (Justifiably) But the lower classes are the most anti-intellectual, least accomplished, yet most overconfident and aggressive. And they’re so angry that they’re impulsive.
It’s not like herding cats. Herding cats assumes stubborn but otherwise cute and kind cats. They aren’t cats, cute or kind, and they aren’t stubborn they’re nasty.
So it’s impossible to organize them. Impossible to produce public protests. Impossible to unify on a set of actionable political demands. And given that the State supports ANTIFA/BLM and the hard left, but oppresses any ‘patriotic’ or right group, any protest ends up one-sided just fueling more rage.
But by suppressing (silencing, canceling) the alt-right, that was led by post-libertarians and was at least humorous by adopting the left’s tacticts, the left simply enraged the ‘mad rad boys’ so now reconciliation isn’t on the table. They want blood.
So the only ‘change’ will come about when the middle and upper middle class right has had enough and works through procedural channels enough (as is happening now) that we can restore the capacity to hold a public discourse on the century and a half of the sins of the left.

    Cheers

    Hmm.. I block on:

…1) Decorum(criticism, defamation, slander, and cursing). It contributes nothing to the discourse and prohibits knowledge seekers with different views.
…2) Intellectual dishonesty and poisoning the well (Trolls),
…3) “Overconfidence given demonstrated competence” Which you’d classify as indefensibility and conspiracy.
…4) Oddly: for memes, which I consider demonstrating incompetency and poisoning the well of discourse.

And I don’t care about taboo subjects (I study them). Particularly Racism, Culture-ism, Sexism, and anti-semitism and anti-europeanism.

Because there is a difference of decorum between description, criticism, defamation, and slander, which does nothing except poison the well of discourse – compared to data and explanation that dispassionately explain the causes of our taboos and conflicts.

It wasn’t impossible to work on the problems of racism, sexism, anti-semitism, and anti-europeanism, and working on them only required pinching your nose and doing the hard work to understand the causes of the conflict sufficiently to figure out how to solve them by resolving those conflicts. If that means (as economists say “going slumming” to see how the other half lives thinks, talks, and behaves” then thats what it takes to uncover causality.

Nothing is relative really. Just turns out that decidability is always and everywhere possible. And we don’t have to like some of the answers. But we can’t have nice things unless we accept and adapt to them.

Evasion of taboos prevents resolution of taboos.
The differences is, that some of us are willing to take the slings and arrows of discord, and some of us arent. And there is no shame in choosing which side of that line you want to stand on.
