Exactly. Just to save you some time: turns out that the spectrum of dictate-to-democracy of the court, like the government, is dependent upon the geography and means of production, the availability of weaponry to the citizenry; the relationship between the upper and other classes (our own, us vs them); the order of development of the primary institutions: (religion/pedagogy, production/trade, and military/state); and the resulting market of trifunctionalism (depending upon law), or monopoly (depending upon religion or state).

    Charles,
Love and admire you as a profoundly substantive and moral man whom I could only desperately wish to aspire to be.
But there is a large contingent of about half the population that grasped, as did Trump, that the postwar era had ended, and that they were being sold down the river by a rather classical example of Turchin’s overproduction of elites, and the gradual erosion of the constitution, our traditions, and our high trust society, and the accumulated sacrifices and capital invested by them and their ancestors in creating and preserving it.
Trump was correct on geostrategy, on trade, on taxation, on immigration, and the restoration of the courts recommended by the federalists who sought to end lawfare and return the sovereignty to the people, the constitution, and the states, against the will of that bureaucracy, and the demonstrated behavior of that bureaucracy (academy, media, finance).
Some of us value character – I know you do. I certainly do. But as far as I know, those voters wanted an executioner and the character of an executioner, and they got one.
If the voters could have achieved those policies with a man of better character, that would clearly have been preferable.
But those people were never given that option.
I have been working for decades to find a solution that would prevent what is a deterministic repetiation of the civil war, in fourth-generation form, from which we might never recover.
I’ll take the next executioner if that’s what’s required to prevent that catastrophe.

    Love and Respect
    -Curt

    The USA is a federation.

This federation insures the sovereignty of other federations and nation-states and insures free trade for the benefit of all. In other words, the USA prohibits empires. (This isn’t obvious, but that’s effectively what the USA does: end the age of empires and force the age of nation-states.)

The difference between a federation and an empire lies in the distribution of power. In a federation, power is shared between the central government and the states, with the states retaining some degree of sovereignty. In an empire, power is centralized, and the ruling nation or group has control over the conquered territories.

    Federation:

… 1. Sovereignty: A federation is a union of partially self-governing states or regions under a central (federal) government. The individual states retain sovereignty over certain matters, while the federal government has authority over common interests (like defense, foreign policy, etc.).

… 2. Constitution: Federations are typically governed by a constitution that outlines the division of powers between the federal and state governments. Changes to this constitution usually require the agreement of a significant proportion of the states.

… 3. Representation: In a federation, the states or regions usually have representation in the central government, often through a bicameral legislature.

… 4. Voluntary Union: The formation of a federation is typically voluntary, based on mutual agreement between the states.

    Empire:

… 1. Centralized Power: An empire is a group of nations or peoples ruled over by an emperor, empress, or other powerful sovereign or government. Power is typically centralized, and the ruling nation or group often imposes its laws, norms, and language on the conquered areas.

… 2. Acquisition of Territory: Empires are often formed through conquest, with the ruling nation expanding its territory by force.

… 3. Hierarchy: There is often a clear hierarchy in an empire, with the ruling nation or group at the top and the conquered peoples or nations subordinate to them.

… 4. Diversity: Empires often encompass a diverse range of peoples, cultures, and languages.

CCP’s “institutional advantage” is a synonym for human misery

–“The deadly typhoon Doksuri swept through China, causing tremendous flooding. The most fatal disaster is not caused by mother nature but by a human decision. To protect Beijing and the new capital city Xiong’An, one small city in Hebei has been stranded in the water for days. And the authorities are telling people they might be stuck in water for a month. Beijing’s ability to handle disaster relief is displayed to the world. It has proved again that the CCP’s “institutional advantage” is a synonym for human misery and unnatural disasters.”- Lei

You’re missing the point, but it’s understandable.

The age of empires is over, and the age of nation-states replaced it. Even if Russia, China, and Iran disagree – and even if India is somewhat confused. 😉

The entire purpose of the postwar order is to prevent another world war by the end of empires, the production of nation-states, human rights, and baiting the world into free trade (meaning the rules-based order) for the betterment of all – and the consequence has been incontestable in every single measure.

SO moral equivalencies across ages don’t apply.

I have promised the FBI that I will not advocate, encourage or inspire others to take direct action.
    That said, I agree. 😉
The leftists and globalists keep piling on the kindling and the government keeps piling logs of incompetence on top of it, so it’s just a matter of time now.
Any tipping point event will do it.
Our job is to ensure when it does occur, whether conservatives do it or not, that the outcome is a restoration of european civilization’s long tradition of innovation adaptation and evolution into the gods we imagined. 😉
