    Like i’ve been saying for more than a decade now: the solution to repairing the west is the contraction of the American empire thereby forcing Europe to return to the consideration of strategic priorities.

    The current postwar arrangement forces the US to function as an empire without domestic priorities, and Europe to function with only domestic priorities. This has led to the absolute DESTRUCTION of both cultures as neither can defend itself from the imbalance of its priorities.

    There would be no problem here if Germany, as is normal and necessary, was acting as the defender of Europe.

    Russia and Germany are natural allies. And the states are making them unnatural enemies.

    America is not the defender of Europe. It is the CONQUEROR of Europe.

    Time for Germany to grow up.

    Lets just keep in mind that Universalist Secular Democratic Socialist Humanism, is a religion too OK? And so is postmodernism. There is precious little difference between the church and the university liberal arts department except the anthropomorphized ‘we’ of a god has been replaced with the corporate ‘we’ of the state. In practice there is zero difference between them. Universalism whether under the edict of a mythical god, or the edict of a corporate state is equally unscientific.

    I would argue that the gay community successfully suppressed the visibility of its promiscuous behavior once the chance for enfranchisement became possible.

    Furthermore the leadership changed the message from a request for tolerance of public promiscuity to one in favor of equal rights, marriage and stability.

    With the genetic, or at least in-utero cause of homosexuality identified, the idea of putting youth at risk disappeared – leaving only the problem of promiscuous behavior.

    The purpose of boycotting is to suppress undesirable behavior in favor of beneficial norms. Marriage is one of our most unnatural states, but most beneficial norms. In fact our moral codes are dependent, first and foremost, upon our family structures – which is why different family structures cannot politically cooperate. Different family structures means different property rights and different demands for state intervention.

    Since it was promiscuity that violated norms, and the general fear of further attacks on the family that mainly drove resistance, then BOYCOTTING WORKED.

    That’s important to grasp. BOYCOTTING WORKED BETTER than libertarian universal particularism. WE WERE WERONG.

    Conservatives are right on norms, and we are not. Cosmopolitan (rothbardian) ethics cannot compete against traditional familial ethics. They can only undermine the hight trust society and require that we return to totalitarianism.

    Freedom requires homogenous ethics. Heterogeneity simply increases the necessary demand for teh state.

    BOYCOTTING is a necessary device for enforcing the heterogeneity of norms that make the high trust society, and low demand for state intervention possible.

    That’s just how it is.

    Period. This isn’t a preference. It’s a logical necessity.

    Well, I’m on board with human rights as a facade for ANGLO imperialism. Europeans have little to do it with it. And Empires grow at the expense of their core peoples. And since I care a lot more about my PEOPLE than I do about their empire, I want to collapse that Anglo empire.

    Human right are also an EXCUSE for europeans not to protect themselves, rather than rely upon the anglo empire.

    So lets just pull back the empire.

    I’m not against breaking the european mythos and restoring Germany to its position as the core state of Europe. I’m against the perpetuation of Russia’s post-soviet endemic corruption, and the suffering that people live under here in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever other than corrupt politicians.

    I’ve made no secret that I’m not a believer in equality. People’s should seek their own levels, and perform at their best. But not encouraging assistance in ‘helping’ people from less advanced cultures is very different from INTERFERING in their natural evolutionary development, and very different from PREVENTING IT with corruption.

    The overall objective is to destroy Putin’s capacity to set marginal natural gas prices in Europe. If pipelines under the Baltic and Black Seas are feasible so are pipelines under the Mediterranean Sea from North Africa to France, and from the eastern Mediterranean and Aegean to Greece and southeastern Europe. Add some LPG terminals and European shale gas operations and this is achieved.

    There may be a third goal in trying to set an example for domestic Russian opponents, which exist in great numbers. I think it’s more likely the Russian Federation’s Deep State will find another leader first.

    CURT’S COMMENTARY FOR LIBERTARIANS

    We should never fool ourselves into thinking that the neocon’s are stupid. I write aristocratic libertarian philosophy, but with a distinctly mercantile bias. Conservative aristocrats do not have this mercantile bias but a MORAL bias in favor of security. Conservatives see risk abatement the way we see opportunity. It is genetic. It will never change. We are all different breeds of ants. Conservatives are the warriors.

    The aristocratic, paternal, moral, secure vision, is not a stupid one. It’s an alternative allocation of capital. We want it for our consumption. The progressives want tit for lower class consumption and upper class status. And the conservatives want it as ‘stores’.

    Conservatives think geopolitically. This is but one example of the long running imperial theme of the anglo conservatives.

    if it isn’t clear, I don’t really mind if they do this kind of thing. I only mind that I get the choice to do something I prefer. After all, unlike conservatives, libertarians are info-vores and novelty hunters. And I want to be able to chase my ant-intuitions just like I am happy to let them chase theirs.

    The cheapest most effective fighting force that a country can have is a well organized militia on the model practiced by the Swiss.

    Require all men of able body to participate in the militia. Give them basic training. Require them to keep LOCKED and UNLOADED arms securely. Develop basic defense plans. Hold training once per year for two weeks. Rehearse the plans.

    What you will get out of it is a very fit set of men. And a country that cannot be oppressed, invaded, or conquered.

    Never did a more gentle and worthy people walk this earth. Do them justice.

    A militia is the source of freedom. It always was. It always will be.

    Laws on paper are meaningless unless every man stands behind it and is willing to die for it.

    All the tanks, helicopters and ships in the world cannot defeat men with rifles, grenades, and the love of their homeland in their hearts.

    Ukraine needs an armed militia.
