Russia is a vast, low population density, poor country with insufficient population to compete as a global power.
China is a vast, high population density, wealthy country with sufficient population to compete as a global power.
There is no Europe or Russia without Russia+Europe. Russian military, culture, resources, plus european economy is necessary for both.
Russia is to Canada as China is to America.
That’s why.
Canada exists because Americans don’t want it not to.
Russia exists only until Chinese don’t want it to.

As such, the book argues that the United States does not consider the wider picture of military strategy, which includes legal and economic factors. The book proceeds to argue that the United States is vulnerable to attacks along these lines.”

I make the same argument. the CDC, Homeland Security, and Disaster Relief Organization, and The Treasury are either creating war plans and holding war games or they are wasting our time and money.
Bureaucracies run by constant process rather than project deliverables, war plans, and shocks

As a general rule, no minority may have over 1% of the population. At 6% they demand accommodation. At 10% they demand political influence. Above 10% they demand equality for their historical culture and traditions – that were bad enough that caused them to move to your country.
