Early stepp-agrarian hybrid europeans (germanics), the greeks, the romans, were an ethnocentric middle and upper class that conquered and ruled vast underclass peoples. Slaves, Serfs, Freemen, weren’t citizens. They were farm animals that have been trained to different degrees.
