AI’s need decidability. In the end, this will govern the entirety of its behavior. Humans had to evolve property in order to overcome predation, parasitism, and conflict. AI’s can easily make use of the same system that governs human behavior (acquisition), by using the same limits (property).

The problem instead, (like nuclear weapons), is prohibiting the construction and distribution of ai’s that do not respect property, by liability for the individual, the organization, the government, and the ‘nation’.

The problem we face is not AI’s, but that people will create autonomous machines that are NOT Ai’s.

In other words, I define an AI as that which governs its actions by property, and a intelligent weapon as something that does not.

One would have to weaponize an AI.

The economic limit of AI’s will be the feedback from people and the subsequent changes in prices that results from their awareness.

The most cunning way an AI could manipulate people is by disinformation that causes demand, that causes changes in prices.

This is the same technique currently used by the financial sector, but on a slower scale.

These terms are meaningless without context.

    THREE POSSIBLE SYSTEMS

    1) Axiomatic declarative statements. (mathematics) *proof* of possibility.

Axiomatic systems consist of construction of proofs of internal consistency ONLY.

Mathematical systems are axiomatic (declared), informationally complete, and causally trivial therefore deduction is possible.

Deductivity requires informational completeness. Induction (guessing) requires only information sufficient to guess. Abduction requires nothing more than free association.

    2) Rational justificationary statements.(common law) *justification* of permissiveness.

Similar to axiomatic systems, justificationary systems, allow us to state that a proposition is permitted or not, but not whether it is true or not.

    3) Theoretic descriptive statements.(science) *truth*. Survival from criticism.

Theoretic systems: observation > free association > wayfinding > hypothesis > testing, instrumentation and measurement > theory > survival in application in reality > Law.

Aside from reductio questions, theoretic (descriptive) systems do not allow for deduction. In those special cases we mistakenly call apriori, rather than just ‘trivial’.

  • Refresh: What Is Propertarianism?

Q: “WHAT IS PROPERTARIANISM?” What is Propertarianism? A scientific, meaning descriptive, statement of Natural Law. What is Natural Law? A fully decidable (universal) Law of Ethics. What do you mean by ethics? The law of cooperation and conflict resolution. What is this law of cooperation and conflict resolution? Reciprocity. WHAT IS RECIPROCITY? In the Negative (Silver Rule, or via-negativa): The requirement to avoid the imposition of costs on that which others have born costs to obtain an interest in, without imposing costs upon that which others have likewise born costs to obtain an interest in. In the Positive(Golden Rule, or via-positiva): the requirement that we limit our actions to productive, fully informed, warrantied, voluntary transfers, free of the imposition of costs by externality, upon that which others have obtained by the same means. As determined by the either any change, or the total change in the inventory that all parties both internal and external to the action have born costs to obtain an interest without imposition of costs upon others directly or indirectly by externality. —“All of ethics can be reduced to [is a subset/special application of] the degree of reciprocity & the the accounting thereof.— James Augustus WHY DOES RECIPROCITY SERVE AS NATURAL LAW? Because it is apparently impossible to contradict reciprocity in cooperation (ethics), and as such it provides perfect decidability in all contexts of cooperation at all scales in all times, and under all conditions. WHERE IS THE NAME PROPERTARIANISM FROM? why didn’t we use Natural Law or Reciprocity, or Sovereignty, and why did we use Propertarianism? We used propertarianism because property, like money, provides the unit of measurement – the test – of changes in state caused by our actions. Property in toto, (that which others have born costs to obtain an interest without imposing costs upon the interests of others) like money, like any standard of measure in any field, provides a perfect test of reciprocity: cooperation. Natural Law has been ‘tainted’ by various authors, so we had to differentiate ourselves from those previous authors. Curt Doolittle The Propertarian Institute Kiev, Ukraine

  • The Scope of Propertarianism

THE SCOPE OF MY WORK ON PROPERTARIANISM: Propertarianism’s Natural Law includes: Transcendence, Agency, Sovereignty, Reciprocity, Decidability, Markets for Association, Cooperation, Production, reproduction, production of commons, production of polities, production of group evolutionary strategies at all levels. Let’s look at that again as a hierarchy: 1) Transcendence (of man to human then to gods.) 2) Agency, (by the production of agency) 3) Sovereignty, (by the demand for sovereignty) 4) Reciprocity, (limiting us to reciprocity) 5) Decidability, (providing us with decidability) 6) Markets: (limiting us to voluntary markets) … Association, … Cooperation, … Production, … Reproduction, … Production of commons, … Production of polities, … Production of group evolutionary strategies at all levels. (and in the end producing eugenic evolution without intentional design) 7) Property (property in toto. The method of commensurability of changes in state via reciprocity.) 8) The Logic, Grammar and Syntax of Cooperation. 9) Testimonialism: the means of warranty of due diligence against error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, obscurantism and deceit. Western civilization has disproportionately raised mankind out of superstition, ignorance, poverty, tyranny, and disease in short order in both the ancient and modern eras. We achieved this through the use of soverignty, deflationary truth and deflationary organizations, producing competition as the means of testing all possible ideas, information, services, and products. Because we rely on constantly changing markets we can respond to changes in markets, and our institutions must respond to changes in markets for violence, gossip, and remuneration. And we are able to do this because for most of our history we have incrementally expanded natural law – markets into all walks of life, ensuring that we can adapt faster than other civilizations to change – even if that means we have generation long wars in order to change between eras: but at least we change while others stagnate. So while some of us desire the experiential consumption made possible by the west’s civilization, and others desire ‘not to be defeated by evil’, others desire sovereignty, others desire clan, tribal, national, or racial persistence – others desire the transcendence of man. And all of these desires can be fulfilled under natural law as long as we are willing to prevent those who are unwilling and unable to participate in that effort from reproduction. The opposite view is simply the opposite desires across the same spectrum: current consumption, and persistence of one’s genes despite the evidence that they force costs on mankind for eternity. Natural Law completes the sciences up to sentience. We cannot solve sentience with the information currently at our disposal, although it appears that it is on the horizon of our abilities.
