UA has been training under NATO aggressively and with discipline since 2015. (I was loosely ‘involved’ so to speak, if only as an observer). UA military isn’t for a lower class jobs program or criminals, but a better talent distribution than other militaries. And they are as passionate as pre-woke Americans in their patriotism. They are incredibly tech savvy. I’ve watched enough videos of their exercises that their first-year trainees move, cover, and signal like american elite forces with much more experience. They have the best intel we can provide them with. And they are creative, adaptive, and take initiative. furthermore, they’re mostly one generation off the farm so hard work doesn’t even trouble them. I don’t understand why we aren’t giving them even more weapons, but everyone I have contact with is concerned that they’ll do more than remove Russia but ‘expand their horizon of interests’ or so aggressively defeat Russia that it will drive enough panic into Russia that it’ll do something ‘stupid’. It’s only just over 300 miles from NE UA to Moscow. Russia has preserved it’s air force precisely to make sure UA doesn’t and can’t take advantage of that short distance.
