  • The Alternate History and Future of Man: Aggression. (We have passed peak human.)

    [T]HE ALTERNATE HISTORY OF MAN. (important) (inflammatory)

    • Each wave of man was more aggressive than the previous.
    • Each wave of man exterminated the previous wave of man, whenever advantageous.
    • Hunter-Gatherers had bigger brains but were less numerous and less aggressive.
    • Northern Europeans with big brains are smarter with bigger brains and less aggressive.
    • The Steppe/Desert/Levant has been kicking off waves of increasingly aggressive peoples for thousands of years.
    • The newer peoples are less intelligent, more reproductive, and more aggressive.
    • They are the future of man.
    • Unless we change again, to keep them at bay.
    • The future isn’t one of achieving supra-human intelligence.
    • It’s one of decreasing intelligence and increasing aggression.
    • And the world is running out of the old species with calmer, smarter, bigger brains.

    [M]an adapts through ideas. Speciation in man is determined by his ideas: philosophical, normative and institutional. Man’s genes adapt largely through changes in distributions of reproductive desirability, aggression, intelligence, and impulsivity. These differences do not show up in our current level of genetic study, yet they determine our futures, because our futures are determined by how we compete with one another’s tribes.

    Different civilizations are different species. This defeats the genetic argument to the similarity of man. Forever.

    That argument is dead. This one reigns. Forever.

    I think I have lost a bunch of you.

    It seems we get truth.

    It seems we get the high trust society.

    It seems we get the western model of truth and trust produce economic velocity.

    It seems we get the reproductive division of perception and cognition.

    It seems we get that the anglo saxon and classical liberal model could not tolerate the enfranchisement of women and the loss of the church as a separate house of government.

    It seems we get the century of mysticism, pseudoscience and propaganda caused by the Jewish century – now at an end.

    But now that I venture into history in search of motivation to restore or sense of kin selection, it seems like everyone wants a single axis of causation: genetic, cultural, institutional, territorial.

    But it’s all of them. Not one.

    Africa generated variation because it is actually quite a hostile climate.

    the first waves out were not aggressive people.

    Each new wave has been more aggressive than the last, and exterminated, raped, mated with, or ate the previous generation.

    At some point the steppe and desert started breeding aggression because of herding.

    The steppe took over from africa as the primary means of evolving increased aggression.

    This process has continued with the Indian civilzation first to be exterminated, then the iranian and byzantine. Then the many attacks on europe. The conquest and conversion of russia to an aggressive steppe culture.

    Islam is an adaptation of religion for steppe and desert cultures.

    Islam is the most aggressive religion-political system yet.

    Only the chinese are wiling to resist it.

    Is this right?

    With writing we would have matched the babylonians and egyptians. But I don’t see any means of developing wrting without the state.
