I mean, we spent 150 years reversing 3500 years of eugenics. It’s not that the resulting problem isn’t solvable. It’s just a question of time, lead, smokeless power, and not running out of all the beer we’re drinking at the parties every night.

(The answer is no. Which is not the answer I would have given a few years ago.The Abrahamic supernatural religions, like their 19th and 20th century pseudoscientific reincarnations,were near identical means of destroying the ancient world civilizations, and the modern (current).)
