    The universe operates on very simple rules, but does a great deal with those very simple rules. Humans, as part of that universe, operate on very simple rules, but we do a great deal with those very simple rules. There is nothing incomprehensible. It’s just eliminating all the ignorance, error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, obscurantism, fictionalism, and deceit, that we are either born with or accumulate. Was language invented to lie? Language was clearly not invented to tell the truth or it wouldn’t be nearly impossible for us to do so without so much effort. Instead, language merely evolved and like violence can be put to moral or immoral use.

    2) Existence persists independent of experience.

    3) Some patterns (categories, relations, values) will always be experienced by human minds.

    4) Human minds are indifferent in perception to the degree patterns are indifferently identified.

    5) Cooperation is possible because of indifference in perception, indifference in incentives (acquisitions), and indifference in mirroring (sympathy and empathy).

    Or stated differently, the only reason victimhood succeeds is in forming a resistance movement that raises the cost of administration by middle class commercial empires. That does not prevent the Chinese from conquering and ruling their buddhist neighbors. It allowed Muslims to destroy their tolerant neighbors. And allowed Christians to destroy the Roman Empire.

    Tolerance is a very, very, very, bad strategy. It is very clearly a *failed* strategy. And as far as I know, it is women who have advanced this strategy out of intuition not reason or evidence

I think it’s possible to separate loonies from skeptics by asking the questions rationally.
