Why Do I Use AI For Compare And Contrast Definitions?
I am quite skilled at prompt generation and the use of AIs to save time, especially when writing (a) historical examples (b) comparing and contrasting in order to disambiguate, and suppress loading, framing, conflation, and inflation. That does not mean I cannot make the arguments myself. It also can add legitimacy because whatever the AI’s return is reproducible. Moreover, given the general criticism that I write too academically with impenetrable informational density, using the AIs ensures that I can both reach normies and if necessary ask the AI to dumb down whatever I’m stating to a given grade level.

This makes no sense whatsoever.
If I tell you that you must fire your employees tomorrow, then borrow the money to replace them with robots, then rebuild your proceddures processes and supply and distribution chains you will bankrupt within weeks.
My analysis is correct.
That’s what we get for studying economics and why you can’t understand the simplicity of the incentives of the south.
It’s not that they wanted to preserve slavery it’s because they had no means of exiting it and industrializing as the north already had without the capital to do so and the time to do it.

@AshaLogos
FYI: Agreed. At the present rate of technological innovation any capital investment in training an AI that doesn’t (and can’t) lie because current AI’s excel at synthesis(generalization) but not at analysis (causality). Even as such they have terrible trouble with math and logic if they do much better with programming because programming requires rigid definitions.
Our work (which I AFAIK you are only vaguely aware of) can be written as the equivalent of program code. However it depends on a long hierarchy of first principles, which will require additional training. That additional training requries recursion and the AI’s are only beginning to develop this capability.
So we are ‘working’ on at least one of the AIs you’re suggesting.
But given the literary nature of your work (literary is a technical term, where the opposite is analytic) that seeks to convey values and experience and to train the intuition, I’d assume you’d ALSO like a literary AI rather than an analytic AI.
IMO we require both.
Everything else other than Truth(objective analytic) and Meaning (subjective literary) is merely a tool to accomplish some other purpose.

Prompt. Tell it to write as if giving court testimony, and answer the questions who, what, where, when, where, why and how. That’s how reporters should write.

Its weakest ability is reason, and particularly chains of reason – and so it may have the capacity but it’s on the distant horizon.
We are (at the Institute) confident that we can now take one of the open source AIs and train it on P-Law and it will at least be able to explain it. THe next step would be teaching it the 130 or so hard questions of law (dispute resoluton) so that it could make them, and us them collectively.
We ar also confidnt that we can teach it The Method just as others have taught it programming. And then we can teach it how to write legislation etc.
So it’ll get there.
As for replicating me? That’s possible I think.
